Most of us now chat about Click^3 on "Little-Games" board of the Ptt; until now, thousands of guys are attracted and interested in Click^3. Just like(?) 2ch in Japan, Ptt is the largest BBS in Taiwan; more than 700,000 users are registered as well as 70,000 users online all day. The users are mainly undergraduate students and high school students. And, there are about 10,000 boards on Ptt, including these main boards: "Gossiping", "Little-Games", "StupidClown", "joke", "Hate", "sex", "Beauty", "Food", "movie", and so on; every board has hundreds to thousands of articles. Approximately 50,000 articles are posted on Ptt everyday, but some old articles will be removed by the system. If you know traditional Chinese and your PC/Mac can read BIG5 code, welcome to visit here: telnet://ptt.cc (a telnet client required. One of programs which support to telnet is PieTTY, click here to download it: http://tinyurl.com/bmpox run it to surf Ptt by type IP: bbs@ptt.cc; Port: 22; SSH mode) Also, all of the articles on each boards will be reposted on web by Ptt system. This is the web version of Ptt: http://ptt.cc The web version of "Little-Games" board: http://www.ptt.cc/bbs/Little-Games/index.html The introduction to Ptt on Wikipedia in English: http://tinyurl.com/26x9ej Finally, thanks for your friendly and tolerant to some few impolite guys of us. ↓ ■Climate and geography in Japan The exact location of Japan ●supposes to be not well known ●in Europe and is often confused with China. Japan consists of islands ●laying long from the north to the south, located on the ●north-west of the Pacific Ocean. It is mainly placed in the temperate zone, although the climate changes greatly from the north to the south, due to the difference of the latitudes. The are a ●big variety of climates, as in the north, it snows very heavily while in the south, it is subtropical. In June, ●it become a rainy season called “tsuyu”●in the mainland of Japan, and ●it rains almost daily. Basically, Japan is ●a water-rich country. 【There is an expression, “Spend money like water”, meaning to use lots of money as if there is an infinite amount. This shows that the Japanese think that water is very easy to get access to.】 Japanese islands are volcanically active, and because of this, earthquakes are common, many active volcanoes are known, and there are many hot springs. Strictly speaking, there are minority groups such as the Ainu and the ●Okinawan (different theories exist) and foreigners, but basically Japan is a ●single-nation state where most people speak Japanese, ●although differences between each dialects suppose to be bigger than two independent languages in Europe in some cases. The most of the population of Japan are ●yellow-race, with black hair and pupils.
□Ancient age Human has lived in ●Japanese Islands since 100,000 years ago. The present Japan imperial dynasty started in about 3rd century. Many things were introduced ●from/though China, such as Kanji (Chinese character) and Buddhism. Shotoku Taishi, the great regent of Empress Suiko in the 7th century, sent a mail to Chinese emperor that said ●"The Emperor of the land where Sun rises sends a letter to the Emperor of the land where Sun sets", and claimed that ●Japan is equal to China.(In those days, ●the Kings of countries around China had to bow to ●the Chinese emperor) The ●name of the state ●"Nippon", the Japanese name of Japan that means 'the place ●where ●Sun come from' has begun to be used in that period. Horyuji, the oldest wooden architecture in the world was built by him. A lot of temples and ●the famous huge statue of Buddha ware built in Nara, an ancient capital.
□Middle age In 8th century, the capital was ●moved to Kyoto. Then ●the political power moved from emperor to nobles. The exchange with Asian continent became sparse and Japanese original ●cultures ●have grown up greatly. The famous ethnic costume kimono and ●literatures such as '●The Tale of Genji (Genji Monogatari)' was ●written. In 12th century, the period of samurais had come. Many samurai heroes ●took active parts and some shogunates ●(military regime) ●ruled by samurai families which conquered civil war gained central power.
□Early modern age A ●political vacuum ●on the evening of 16th century caused large civil war, and the winner Tokugawa family seized ●the political power in the ●beginning of 17th century. ●Their government was set up in Edo (present Tokyo), and ● 250 years of peaceful age has started. Edo became the ●city with biggest population ●among every cities in the world at the time, and ●civil cultures such as ukiyoe and kabuki are ●grown.
□Modern age The emperor family which was 'the sovereign reigns but doe not rule' over 1000 years was restored by ●royalist samurais, and the new administration promoted Westerernization of ●Japanese society system. Domestically, democracy was introduced and parliamentary government was began. Internationally, Japan won Russo-Japanese War and joined the League of Nations as a parmanent member. Afterwards Japan defeated the ●WW2, but revived economically from burnt ruins.●
【On these historical ●backgrounds, Japan became the country involving the traditional style and the Westerern style.】
Although there are a lot of modern tall buildings and houses have iron frames, traditional Japanese architectures are built from woods with grasses, not from stones like European architectures.
) Even though in “modern” houses, the most of Japanese houses has “genkan (entrance)” space to put shoes off there. The most of us do not wear shoes inside a house, although sometime we use slippers instead, for internal use. Due to high humidity, we have had bathing tradition for a long, and even before modern days, people had bath at least once 1 or 2 days.
Because Japanese traditional Buddhism forbade eating 4-legs animals, traditional Japanese foods are mainly made from plants【もしくはvegetable】, lean taste, without much oil, recognized as healthy food today. Rice is common staple food.
Japan is surrounded fully by seas, therefore people eat many kind of oceanic products. (not only fish but also squids, octopuses, sea urchins, crabs, shrimps, shellfish, wheels, and many kind of sea weeds) There are much more nouns for fish name in Japanese language comparing to in English language. We use chopsticks to eat. The average lifetime of Japanese people is the longest in the world. Today more people uses bed, but a lot of people put mattresses and quilts on Tatami, Japanese traditional flooring made of woven straw. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tatami)
Hi, Japanese. Thanks for your cute pics. But that will be much better if you can draw the breasts bigger!

Hi! Do you enjoy clicking? By the way,I got sad rumor you were clicking with FIRE VOLCANO. It's magnificent tool, but made by Japanese clicker. I think the fun of this game is not only conpetition of clicking, but also other movement, for example tool development or agitation against latent clicker. The Game shall be more exciting if such manifold battle will come to life. And I believe you can develop so cool original tools bother Japanese clicker. Good click!

To respond to the unsent letter in >>320: Even though I may not be the appropriate person to answer your questions (I haven't been following our forum lately), but basically the answer is yes to all your questions.
Shortly after the start of this turn, our side devised a system that allows remote captcha decoding while still depending on human code breakers - this was E2C3. It is a nice system in theory, and it has a lot of potential, but its implementation was not perfect. The clients using it were not error-free and the lousy free web service that hosted the server deleted it without notice. These events caused severe disruptions so our fighting potential was not at its best already - and this was the time when the first news of your automatic weapons reached us. At the same time your click rate began to surge, and these two events combined had a devastating effect on our morale. The appropriate term would be "total brain death".
Some have acquired FireVolcano and modified it to click for us - yet, many began to spread rumors that even these modified versions are clicking for Japan. The total number of clicks done by these modified FV clients are negligible but the adverse effect of FV and the accompanying rumors were significant.
The biggest problem in our camp was - and still is - the complete lack of reliable official communication. When we first heard about FV, there was absolute chaos in our HQ and forums - some half-wits were shouting lies and misunderstandings, other idiots were spreading them. Those who actually had a clue about what's going on were not heard in all the noise.
As a result, Japan has acquired a strong lead, and many in our camp felt that it is pointless to fight in these circumstances, so they left. I think that the Japanese clicker society has a similar constitution: there is a very small core of dedicated individuals who are faithful to the game, and there are a large number of people who has just jumped on the bandwagon when the outlook was good. Now, in Hungary most of the latter group went away and all that is left are the small group of hard-core fighters.
This is certainly good for the mental health of the HQ, as the idiots must have left as well, but the fact remains that we are currently very few.
Personally I don't think that we can muster a successful counterattack in this round - your advantage is simply too big. Yet, there are signs of revival, for example, this: http://dchelp.hu/ftp_users/ptr/?p=103 which is basically a call to arms written in a cool yet enthusiastic tone.
With that, I finish this small essay. You may have won this round, but the game is not over yet. We have not given up.
>>9 やってみた。訂正補足よろしく。 ■Industry Once the main industries in Japan was agriculture and fishery, but they have been replaced to manifacture of car and electrical appliances since 1950's. Though Japan is poor in national resorces,is exporting the high quality products to the world with its high processing technology. The research of high technologies of the robot and the biotechnology is also active.
■Religious circumstances In a Japanese myth, it is said that the male god and the female god mixed the sea together with the heavenly pike and the drop from the pike became Japan islands. These two gods made a lot of gods afterwards, and gave birth to the sun goddess named Amaterasu at the end. In Japan,it is female though most of the sun gods in other countries are male. (It was thought that this god's descendant was an ancestor in the following emperor family.) Moreover, what a lot of gods exist is said "eight million gods" and Japanese feel that they inhabit all things; For example, there are the god of rice, of water, of thunder, and of poverty. Therefore,Japanese people tend to consider the other pantheons of other religions as one of the gods. Such a natural belief (Shintoism) and the Buddhism unite, and it is established to the society in modern days. A modern Japanese has a church wedding, go to the Shinto shrine when his/her child is born, says a Buddhist prayer in a funeral.

Thanks for your e-mail and asking some points such as merchandising products. I posted your opinions/e-mail to our web site. There are controversy issues in our arguments, especially about "scripts". I will note those points below.
1. About "scripts" programmes. We would like to make sure what kind of scripts are unfair programmes in your opinion.
If you think that "scripts" are tool programmes, we assume that the degree of pleasure in this clicking game will be reduced. Because we enjoy it with developing the tool programmes to compete rivals. Some of our clicker enjoy analysing your game programme tendency. Do you think all kind of tools are unfair and not proper for this game except clicking mouse?
Could you tell us exactly your meanings of scripts please? Anyway, If the attack is from Japan, we would like to help you to inform the ISP to stop the code attack. Of course we believe that those people who use the harmful programmes are not our clickers. Besides it is impossible for us to stop them through the notice in our wiki web site.
2.About merchandising products. We ask our readers opinions in our web site. The number of response is very high. Briefly I can introduce some ideas from our readers. -They want to buy the products which design is related to each nation, and with pictures which were painted by Japan, Hungary and Taiwan sides with respectful and cheerful friendship. -They should have the competition of the products design for T-shirts. -They do not want to buy products which are made in China, because they do thinkclickclickclick game is from the UK. -nother idea is products design with images of certification system.

Now, many Japanese players are using a couple of software with automatic image recognition, and they can just increase the count of click without checking their PC. However, most Japanese players think that those software are allowed to use and that using the software is still fair, because we are not exactly sure which are scripts you mean and which are not.
Do you think it's fair?

Hi, Thanks for your email. Actually, ALL scripts cause us a problem. No scripts or automated processes are allowed. In fact so many scripts were being sent to the server that it crashed and was down all last night. We can not run the game with scripts being used. Ian.

Hi, Actually, anyone who uses ANY form of script or automated process causes us problems. The server was down all last night due to the scripts being sent to it. The game can not run properly if people do this. It is a real problem for the game.
Thank you for your advice on the merchandising - very useful thanks, Ian.

ウサギは鳥なので食べてよし,とした坊さんの話や, 明治維新時に牛を食べる欧米文化を恐ろしい事だと考えた事などを考えると, 「古来,日本では4足動物を食べることを嫌い,したがって食の中心となるのは 植物性の食材および鳥肉類,海産物」のほうが正確かもしれません. traditionally, in the most area, to eat 4-legs animals is thought as a taboo. therefore, mainly japanese foods are made from plants/vegetables, chickens, ducks, and productions from seas.

Japanese people are sensitive to taste of dashi(essences of marine products),and call the taste "umami" in distinction from sweetness and saltiness. It was Japanese sdentists that advocated taht concept of umami internationally. It is said that the background is what dashi's constituents help us assimilate amino acid, that tends to be insufficient in Japanese food.
japanese people are very sensitive to the taste of "dashi" (extract from edible kelp, fish and so on). possibly, as the background., this is caused by the fact that the components from "dashi" helps absorpting amino acid, which have tend to be lack in japanese food. the taste of "dashi" is named as "umami". the concept of "umami" is proposed academicaly by a japanese scholer, and today umami is commonly known as one of the 5 basic taste. 「We always aim to run a fair game.」
Traditionally, in the most area, to eat 4-legs animals is thought as a taboo. Therefore, mainly japanese foods are made from plants/vegetables, chickens, ducks, and seafoods. lean taste, without much oil, recognized as healthy food today. Rice is common staple food.

○The most studies agree that the present Japanese imperial dynasty started at least more than 1,500 years ago. It is the oldest existing dynasty of the world.
○Therefore, Japanese people tend to consider the other pantheons of other religions as one of the gods, and are generous with other religions. Such a natural belief (Shintoism) and the Buddhism influenced each other in Japan. In other word, they were "mixed together". Up to now, this "mixed-up" belief has been established in the society.
During this clicking war, I guess that many of you guys got questions such as "Why the hell the Japanese guys are getting so crazy on this?" "What the **** the Japanese are?!". To give you the answer of these, I'd like to introduce our country Japan briefly.
Unfortunately, more than 70% of Japanese land is covered by forests on high mountains which we cannot use for farms, and is always facing to the mighty nature's graet menaces such as volcanos, typhoons, earthquakes and many more. But we are living in islands and we are surrounded completely by seas, thus we cannot escape from this place! We tried our best to resistance fight against the menaces from the nature, but at the end, we gave up. 【】
The great advantage of islands' nation is avoidability from the menaces, not from the nature, but from foreign people. The Japanese could live without many invasion from foreign countries. our culture could grow independently, as a very unique one. Ofcource, influences from China, which have been a super power for a long, is not negligible. For example, the language. Although Japanese language is complete independent and has no similarity with Chinese, around a half of our words are made of Chinese characters. This kind of things can be seen in Vietnamese, and Korean also, but it is only in Japanese to use Chinese characters with the nation's original letter (I mean Japanese characters) mixed together. I guess from these, it's possible that many of you guys confound Japan/Japanese with China/Chinese.... But at least, I'd love you to remember that Jackie Chan is NOT Japanese but Chinese.

>763 >800 ありがとうございます。すばらしいです。 Such a generousness to the nature and foreign cultures seems to be related with religious irreligious. The Japanese have been polytheist since the ancient era. This is based on animism, the belief that souls inhabit all objects and affairs. "rice god", "kitchen range god", "water god" "thunder god" are exist of course, but also there are "caretaker god" "poverty god" and so on. Too much generous! As a matter of cource, "the god" of christianism is one of the gods here in Japan.
Like this, Japanese people have been actively accepting many things of different natures. This caused such a nation with such a big curiosity. In the early modern age (16c-), things became still and peaceful, and citizens can have peaceful time. With the free time, they started doing many things really seriously (perhaps they are recognized as leisures). ... and the persistency that tries as much seriously as possible, even though for a silly thing. These factors caused today's high-tech nation Japan, and the passion of this clicking war. It is raelly big pleasure for us Japanese to have communicaion with you through the clicking war.
Hello, and first of all, I would like to thank you for your great work running the game. My name is OO, and I am a clicker enjoying this game from Japan. If it would be fine with you, I would like to ask you two favors.
Firstly, can clearly state when the game ends? As a gamer being allowed to play your game, I may not have the right to say this, but the fact that the ending of the game depends on your mood is somewhat disappointing. Many gamers feel this way, too.
Secondly, can you give us some time to rest between the games? The following game comes so abruptly, we cannot even have moment to get drunk on a sweet victory (lol).
This is all for now. I understand that you are very busy, but I look forward to hearing from you.
You know it's part of the hungarian nature to believe that every country is our enemies, and they're cheating, unlike us, who are the best, the great, the gods.Actually I hate that part of us.
「people can't believe each other」だっけな。
VI. forduló vége. Japán-Taiwan szövetség? A VI. fordulót Japán nyerte, alig lemaradva Taiwan a 2., hazánk a 3. helyen végzett.

>Anyone who uses scripts, tools, programs, or obtains clicks in an automated way, will be banned.
(日本と台湾の関係についてどう思う?) nincs semmi összeállás, csak barátkoznak, mint mi. (確実、もしくは多分組んで何かやってるぜ) ők nem csak egymással, hanem Iannal is összefognak!!
(The change over to each new game and the predetermined end time is all automatic at the moment.)
>>982 Anyone who uses scripts, tools, programs, or obtains clicks in an automated way, will be banned.
